The perfect on the go breakfast that gives you that kick you need to wake up and conquer the day ahead. You’ll love our banana, oat and coffee protein smoothie.
.
Everyday is a coffee day and if like me you’re a cold coffee lover and not too fussed about breakfast this smoothie is the perfect combination.
.
I have this most mornings, it gives me that kick I need to get the boys ready for school. And believe it or not it really does fill me up.
.
The banana, coffee oatiness is delicious. You can add more or less of each ingredient as your taste buds desire. I do prefer it with a whole banana but then the sugar content jumps somewhat, which we should be careful of as you are also putting honey in it.
.
To make it thicker and more filling you could increase the oats, add more protein powder, add avocado (Luke’s suggestion not mine) for extra creaminess or add more ice and less almond milk to make it thicker which will make the smoothie last longer.

To the recipe! When I’m training or if I want to increase the calories of the smoothie to make it more of a “meal” I use myprotein impact whey vanilla flavor protein powder to give it a protein boost. You can use whicher you like in yours but keep the flavor down to vanilla or unflavored.
